Anno1777 is quite an addictive game, especially if you are business minded and enjoy buying, selling, and trading of goods like myself. When there is a real money return for those who are successful, it is even more rewarding.
It has taken me a little while to figure out the basic concept of the game, and there is still a lot for me to learn. I haven't even ventured into the war side of Anno1777 yet, but I will do in time, and share my tips with you when I do. But for now, I will share my tips for beginners and hope that it will help any people who wish to sign up and play this game.
I have invested some of my own money into this game, in order to open a few of my own companies. So far, these two companies are proving productive and with time and patience, I should see a return on my investment.
Below are some of my tips for beginners on Anno1777. I will share more as I progress in the game.
The basics of the game.
The idea of this game is to make as much money as you can, and become an established player with a portfolio of companies and slaves.
There are several ways to earn money on Anno1777 which include:
- Working
- Fighting
- Selling or renting products/items
- Fighting in wars
- Collecting daily bonuses
- Becoming part of a countries Government.
I have been playing Anno1777 for approximately two months now and these are the tips I would give you as a new player:
- Log in every day and work. This is the one of the easiest ways of making money as a beginner, and takes only a click of a button.
- To maximise your earnings from working, your wellness needs to be as high as possible. This can be achieved in several ways.
- Rent or buy a house. A one star house will give you 5 wellness points daily. A five star house will give you 23 wellness points daily, so it depends on what you can afford. I do recommend trying to purchase a house if possible as this can also be rented out to other players and is an asset if you are in need of finance. Don't forget to actually move in to the house once rented or purchased though. You can do this by going to the profile and inventory section at the top. Then select transport. You should see the house you have either rented or purchased. Press the move in button to start generating extra wellness.
- Purchase wine daily. You can either purchase 1 star wine, and up to 5 star wine. This will give you an immediate wellness increase and I advise you to purchase this just before you are about to work. This will help generate more income.
- Purchase food. As with most things on Anno1777, there is a rating between 1 stars and 5 stars. The more stars something has, the higher your wellness will be.
- Clothing. There are 10 different types of clothing, and the more you have, the better for your wellness will be. A five star piece of clothing will last you 30 days and give you an increase of 5 on your wellness every day. If you own all 10 items of clothing, you will, of course, have an increase of 50 wellness everyday. This is probably one of the easiest and best methods of keeping your wellness high.
- Anno1777 also states that purchasing and reading articles will also give you a small boost to your wellness.
- Fighting other slaves is also a good way of earning money for beginners on Anno1777. Again, your wellness will determine the amount you receive per fight. You should be fighting someone with a lower wellness than yourself in order to earn money. Each fight will last 20 minutes real time. The amount you earn per fight is determined both by your wellness, and the maximum amount the Government has set per fight. This can change at any time.
